Libby McKean

Libby’s experience spans divorce, complex financial remedy cases, private children law proceedings, and Family Law Act proceedings. She also advises in relation to pre- and post-nuptial agreements, including for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, often involving international assets and trust structures. Libby is part of the specialist nuptial agreement unit at Miles Preston.

Libby has worked with a broad range of clients including business owners, artists, individuals in the public eye and in the television and film industry, as well as on matters where assets are to be shared on a needs basis. Her clients often have a complicated matrimonial and non-matrimonial asset bases, and many of the cases she works on have an international element.

She also has experience advising clients in relation to complex children matters, including contact arrangements and specific issues such as relocation and schooling. She advises on cases involving allegations of domestic abuse and welfare concerns.

Libby advises in relation to Family Law Act proceedings, including applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders.
